MCTXSheriff SWAT and CNT Standoff Ends in Peaceful Arrest
At about 3:00 AM this morning, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a disturbance with a gun at a residence in the 27900 block of Augusta View Drive in Spring, Texas.
When Deputies arrived, they learned four adults were at the location, and sometime in the early morning hours, three of the adults were involved in a verbal altercation. The altercation escalated when a 51-year-old female assaulted a 48-year-old female by biting her. The suspect then produced a firearm and pointed it at the female and a 51-year-old male, who is the owner of the residence. The female, the male, and a 24-year-old female were able to flee the residence, leaving the suspect inside.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT and CNT Units responded and were able to take the suspect into custody without incident. The suspect, identified as Racheal Mouton, was transported to the Montgomery County Jail, where she was charged with Misdemeanor Assault – Bodily Injury and Felony Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. No photograph of the suspect was available at the time of this release.
