TRAINING ACADEMY

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Training Academy is a regional training academy licensed by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE). The mission of the training staff is to provide all students with realistic, reliable, and relevant training. The Academy provides training for both in-service and new recruit training. Training is offered in three formats: traditional classroom courses, field or practical application training, and e-training. The Academy charges a nominal fee to individuals commissioned by agencies not funded by Montgomery County.

ACADEMY ANNOUNCEMENT
Effective January 1, 2022, courses completed on E-Campus will not be reported to TCOLE. All online training needs must be done through INFOR. The Outside Training Request Packet may be found under the Finance section of the MCSO Employees Only page.
