K9 Unit


The mission of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Division is to provide support to all divisions of the Sheriff’s Office, as well as surrounding agencies, in apprehension, detection and deterrence of criminal activity. Through realistic and continuous training the K-9 Division promotes teamwork, integrity, pride, honor and leadership. Each member of the K-9 Division strives to maintain officer safety and preserve the quality of life for all citizens of Montgomery County.

Belgian Malinois, born 2012 in Germany. Dual purpose explosives patrol dog. Certified in American Working Dog, National Narcotic Detector Dog Association and National Odor Recognition Test.

K9 LOKI

Belgian Malinois, born 2017 in Hungary. Dual purpose, narcotics and patrol. Certified in American Working Dog and National Narcotic Detector Dog Association.
