Each district has a Property and Persons Section, which report directly to a Detective Sergeant under the command of the Patrol Captain. Major Crime Detectives is under the command of the CID Captain.
- Property Crimes consists of burglaries, theft, etc.
- Persons Crimes consist of non aggravated offenses which would be defined as a non weapon offense
- Major Crimes consist of any aggravated crime/homicide
