MCTXSheriff Investigates Bank Jugging Incident

On December 13, 2021, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to 301 Pruitt Rd, Spring, TX in reference to a theft.

When Deputies arrived they learned the victim had just cashed a check at his bank on Sawdust Road in Spring, and then drove to his apartment complex on Pruitt Road. While the victim was in the apartment office he observed a dark blue or black Chrysler 200 park beside his vehicle, and a black or dark blue Chevrolet Cruz pull up behind his vehicle. The victim then observed a black male exit the Chrysler vehicle and attempt to open the victim’s passenger side door but it was locked. At the same time, a second black male exited the Chevrolet vehicle, opened the driver's side door, reached into the vehicle, and take the money just withdrawn from the bank. Both suspects returned to their respective vehicles and fled the area.

The suspect from the Chrysler was wearing a blue jacket, black baseball cap, grey jeans, and black and white shoes. The suspect from the Chevrolet wearing a brown hoodie, blue jeans, and white shoes.
