MCTXSheriff Investigates Highline Oaks Homicide
On December 25, 2021, at about 10:00 pm, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence in the 3000 block of Highline Oaks West, Conroe, in reference to a welfare check.
When Deputies arrived at the residence they discovered the body of a deceased 37-year-old male identified as Jose Diaz inside the residence. Deputies learned Diaz's family went to check on him after not hearing from him and found him in the residence deceased. Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Violent Crime Unit responded to the scene to being their investigation. The circumstances surrounding Diaz’s death are currently under investigation and no other information will be released at this time due to this being an active investigation.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Diaz’s family and friends as they are grieving the loss of their loved one.
