MCTXSheriff Investigates Shooting in Roman Forest
On June 17, 2023, at about 11:45 pm, MCTXSheriff Deputies responded to an assist agency call from the Roman Forest Police Department. RFPD advised they were responding to a shooting at a home in the 23000 block of Pagliano Court and requested investigation assistance from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene. Upon arrival, Detectives discovered that a 43-year-old male had been shot by a family member during a family violence disturbance. The male who had been shot was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently in stable condition. All individuals involved in this shooting incident have been identified.
The Montgomery County District Attorney's Office was consulted and will be presenting this case to Grand Jury for possible charges. This is an active investigation and no further information is available for release at this time.
