MCTXSheriff Investigating Shooting Incident in South Montgomery County
On March 22, 2022, at about 1:45 pm, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the Timber Mill Apartments located at 1481 Sawdust Road, The Woodlands, in reference to a disturbance.
When Deputies arrived, they learned a family violence had occurred inside the apartment which led to a male being shot by a female. Deputies entered the apartment and rendered first aid to the male who was then transported to a nearby hospital and is in stable condition. The female actor in this incident is known and has been interviewed by Detectives. Detectives have not been able to interview the male that was shot due to him undergoing medical treatment. At this time, there is no reason to believe anyone else is involved or there is any danger to the public.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are still being investigated by Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit, along with Investigators from the Crime Lab and the District Attorney’s Office. No arrests have been made at this time.
