MCTXSheriff Investigating Shooting Deaths

On October 18, 2018, at about 11:45 p.m., deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to a Shots Fired call in the 1200 block of Winchester Drive, Conroe. When deputies arrived at the scene, they noticed three individuals laying on the ground on the middle of Winchester Drive. Two of the individuals, one male later identified as Daniel Outlaw, a 35 year old white male, and one female later identified as Jennifer Lee, a 29 year old white female, were confirmed deceased with apparent gunshot wounds. The third person, a 28 year old white female, was transported by Ambulance to Memorial Herman- The Woodlands. The female is in critical condition and currently undergoing surgery. She will not be identified at this time.

During the investigation, detectives learned that Daniel is the ex-boyfriend of the surviving female. Prior to the shooting, a domestic disturbance occurred between Daniel, the female, and her best-friend, Jennifer. In the midst of the disturbance, Daniel produced a handgun and fired multiple times, striking both Jennifer and the other female and the subsequently shot himself.

There is no threat to the public at this time. This case is being investigated by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crime Unit.
