Sergeant Miller Recognized for Outstanding Community Service

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is proud of our very own Sergeant David Miller who was recognized by Mission Northeast for his efforts to organize a massive food drive each year in East Montgomery County. Sergeant Miller is an excellent example of Sheriff Henderson’s Boots on the Ground initiative, which encourages employees of the Sheriff’s Office to give back to our communities in various ways. Sergeant Miller has been a leading component in the organization and success of the annual Sharing is Caring Food Drive each year and he humbly thanks those who help this event continue to thrive including local citizens, police, and firefighters.

Mission Northeast is a nonprofit organization based out of New Caney, Texas that provides food, clothing, and household items to persons living in poverty and serves over 800 miles and eleven zip codes. You can learn more at www.missionne.org

Sheriff Henderson and the MCTXSheriff’s Office would like to thank Sergeant Miller for being an example of the servant leadership heart and community-oriented policing philosophy that are part of our core values of Professional, Accountable, Compassionate, and Trusted [P.A.C.T.]

In order from left to right, Lieutenant Rogers, Sergeant Miller holding his award, Sheriff Henderson and Captain Franklin.
