Sheriff’s Office Looking for Robbery Suspects in New Caney Area
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is community assistance in identifying the suspects (pictured below) who are responsible for an attempted robbery of a homeowner in New, Caney, Texas.

On December 29, 2017, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Mexican John Road in reference to a robbery. Deputies learned that at about 4:15 pm, three unknown suspects walked up the victim’s driveway. The victim was sitting at his kitchen table eating and heard the screen door open. The victim went to the door asked who was there and one of the males replied, “Don” or “John.” The victim opened the door and observed two white or light skinned Hispanic males standing by the door, pointing a shotgun at him. The victim shut and locked the door then ran upstairs to call 911. The suspects then ran out to the street, entered a light colored SUV (Durango or Jeep) and took off.

Deputies reviewed video surveillance at the residence, which showed the first suspect was wearing a black hoodie with a white ‘Nike” imprint on the front and tan pants or long shorts. The second suspect was wearing a black hoodie and dark blue jean shorts, carrying a checkered backpack. The third suspect was wearing a black hoodie with blue jeans and was carrying a shotgun. The suspects were all wearing handkerchiefs over their faces and gloves.
