Damon W. Hall is currently the Captain over the newly created Homeland Security and Special Operations Division. The units under his Command include S.W.A.T, Hostage Negotiations, Special Response Group, K-9, Gang Unit, Joint Terrorism Task Force, Firearms training, Air Unit (both plane and UAS) and emergency deployment vehicles for floods. Captain Hall sits on several committees with the Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), Securing the Cities (STC), and is the County Representative for the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, Class 269.
Captain Hall currently holds a Master Peace Officer’s License with the State of Texas and has worked in a Law Enforcement capacity for 22 years in Montgomery County. Positions held during this time include Patrol Deputy, Crime Scene Investigator, S.W.A.T. Deputy / Assistant Team Leader / Team Leader, Lieutenant and now Captain. He has received several commendations during his tenure with the most notable being the 100 Club Officer of the Year (2004) and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Meritorious Service Award from Sheriff Tommy Gage in 2010.
