Phase I
- Applicant creates an account and completes an application for a posted position.
- Supplemental Questionnaire issued, and returned by the given due date.
- Qualified Detention Officer and Deputy Sheriff applicants will be emailed to schedule Pre-Employment Written Testing and Physical Agility Testing.
- Qualified Telecommunicator applicants will be emailed to schedule for CritiCall Testing.
- Other Clerical applicants will be emailed to schedule testing.
- Personal History Book issued, completed by Applicant, and returned with supporting documentation by the given due date.
- Recruiting personnel will complete a background investigation, and a Polygraph Exam will be scheduled, if applicable for position applied.
- Final approval by the Sheriff and Conditional Offer of Employment extended to the applicant.
- Conditional Offer of Employment based on the following:
- Drug Screening / Physical Examination / Psychological Evaluation / County Physical Agility / Hearing Screening.
- Testing will vary depending on requirements listed in the specific job posting.
